![]() TL DR: I'm a noob to basecamp, please share your experience with me, especially how to build a basecamp training ground to learn the Parkour Expert proficiency. Is this normal? I've never noticed any in-game effect other than buildings deleting items, but I just couldn't tell if they're harmless or just building up bugs like a bomb, waiting to explode. Lastly, those error messages.they pop up so very often, like every time my followers built something, an error pop up. Are there any space near the bulletin board that won't be devoured by the basecamp buildings? Third, is there a way to preview how the field basecamp will be built? I had to savescum so many times just because the basecamp buildings "delete" whatever items were originally there. Is it only restricted to the good old field basecamp? So I tried.and never found the option to build a basecamp training ground. Second, is basecamp training ground only available for a field modular basecamp? I ask this because I've seen a post about that you can build basecamps upon fire watch towers, mansions, light industries, etc. Also, is it really necessary to build the basecamp near river and road? It's not like water is that hard to get, even easier once you build the water well, and building a off-road friendly car is neither that difficult. Is there any way to prevent that? Building trenches didn't seem to work. I built one exactly following that, and than my followers got slaughtered one after another by giant insects and geese. It's gonna be long, so get a cup of tea and hear me out.įirst, I've checked a guide to build basecamp 2 years ago, and it said it's important to build it near road, forest, swamp and river. Sound simple, right? But the last few playthroughs are anything but simple. My current game goal is to build a basecamp training ground for my character to get the Parkour Expert proficiency.
